Looking to modernize legacy construction management software
As a guy running a medium sized construction firm, our current workforce management software is painfully outdated. We need a modern web application that can handle offline fieldwork and dynamic reporting without crashing constantly. Has anyone successfully upgraded a legacy system recently? I want to know what challenges you faced during the transition.

Re: Looking to modernize legacy construction management soft
When upgrading legacy systems, the biggest challenge is always data migration and user adoption. You should definitely start by mapping out your exact technical requirements and getting input from your field workers before writing a single line of code. It is also highly recommended to adopt a lean development approach with frequent minor releases. This helps your team adapt to the new interface gradually instead of overwhelming them.
